We take great pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail in the design and construction of lawns, driveways or recreational areas. We can provide customised landscaping layouts to suit the specific requirements and desires of our clients.
We are able to advise on and supply landscape materials such as topsoil, subsoil, stone or rock, pea gravel, concrete and any other required materials. We can also assist in the laying of sealed surfaces such as tarmac or concrete driveways and yards.
As a Registered Farm Improvement Contractor with the Irish Department of Agriculture we are ready to undertake any type of farm improvement under the TAMS II Scheme.
Doody Plant can build culverts for underground service tunnels, escape tunnels, animal crossings and pedestrian subways. Culverts are a fast, simple and cost effective way to create safe, strong underground passage ways.
Concrete culverts are also the quickest, easiest, and most cost-effective means of installing a road crossing or underpass on farms and other properties. Doody Plant can create new crossings, or replace older crossings such as weak bridges. Culverts are particularly popular for agricultural crossings such as cattle underpasses. A modern concrete culvert greatly improves safety for both farmer, livestock and road users. We have the capability and machinery to create the right farm culvert for pedestrian, animal or vehicle underpasses as well as for larger agricultural vehicles.
We can prepare the ground for Balancing Tanks or culverts for storing large volumes of storm water. A single box culvert or a span of several box culverts will provide an economical and effective storm water storage solution. We can also carry out land works for stream culverts, multi-cell culverts and drainage pipe replacement. Unlike concrete pipes, a box culvert can be designed with as little as 200 mm cover, while still providing excellent land drainage and a high level of durability. This makes culverts impressive where finished levels have tight constraints.
